Catchin’ Up With Me

So as I am trying to put all of my thoughts about China into words, I thought i would update you on what i’ve been up to.

I have a job now. I work at Chuck E. Cheese with one of my best friends. It’s actually really cool. Also I’m legitimately writing this while i work. Orrr maybe i shouldn’t have mentioned that. I generally work weekends and party host, but on the few (so far) weekdays i’ve worked, I’ve either worked st the register or kid check. which is basically just the stamping and stamp check area as people come in. it’s really important so kids don’t get abducted.

This happened before China, but I’m not sure if I’ve mentioned it... I got a puppy!!!! He’s a golden retriever and I’m going to make a post about him and what i’ve learned and all of that fun stuff soooooon!

I, also, have an actual school dance coming up! My school doesn’t really do dances so this is big news. I’ll, of course, have to post all about it. Probably one big blog post, so don’t expect that until after the dance.

Also, it seems like right now is the current time for parties. I currently have at least 3 coming up. Two are birthday parties and one is an end of the year party. It just seems like a lot even though they’re spaced out quite a bit.

So last but not least, I have a performance coming up. I’m Mrs. Potts in my school’s production of Beauty and the Beast. We’re less than two weeks out and I just developed some laryngitis. Which means my vocal chords are swollen, so my voice is gone. Sounds like something off a television show, right? So i have to figure out a way to quickly recover and be at 100% by night of.

It’s kind of overwhelming when i think about it all. But it’s certainly all fun stuff!! Summer is just around the corner as well, so once I get through all this stuff, I’m home free! Well, for like 2 and a half months that is. I can’t wait to get out of school...
