I am with a leadership group that goes on a trip once a year to study abroad. This year the trip is to China, and I am so so very excited. One of the places we’re visiting is The Great Wall. That’s something you learn about in history books, not normally something you visit. It’s a bucket list place!! I’m only 16 and I’m checking The Great Wall off my bucket list! It’s so insanely exciting and nerve-wrenching.
So the reason I’m giving that as a little prequel is because as this is posted (if all goes according to plan) I’m in China when this is posted! So it’s a heads up for a future post all about my trip. And a lil reason as to why such a small post. Now on to the real topic. Drumroll please, buddudddudduududuududum
ps. all did not go according to plan... I've been back for a bit, but decided I would post this anyways.
Mom Jeans
Mom jeans are a specific style of jeans that were very unpopular just a little while ago. Recently though, their popularity has spread like wildfire. Celebrities, specifically youtubers, wear said jeans.
The jeans are typically looser around the thighs and calves, tighter around the butt, and very high waisted. I love mom jeans, I found a specific pair at target ( #notspons #butiwish ) that I really love. I have trouble finding jeans that fit the way I want them to. So I did what any reasonable person would do, I bought a pair in every color they sold them in. Which is basically just three, a light wash, medium wash, and dark wash. I wear the light wash more often than any of the other pairs, but I love them all.

I believe what you wear determines how you feel. So if I were to wear something I didn’t like or didn’t feel comfortable, it would show in the way I spoke or the my body language. I think it’s not always about like sweatpants comfortable, but if there’s a color you’re insecure about, you’ll be more focused on others’ approval of your outfit than whatever’s going on.
